Firefly Video is run by experienced managers who have a passion for building advanced advertising technologies and a unique point of view about how to best meet the needs of consumers, advertisers and publishers as it relates to delivering video ads online. The core idea of the company was conceived in 2009 after conducting a strategic study of the opportunities and gaps in the video advertising marketplace. This quest led to the formation of Firefly Video. As a wholly owned subsidiary of Exponential Interactive, Inc., one of the largest independent advertising technology companies in the world, Firefly Video draws upon deep resources and expertise to deliver outstanding product and support services to advertisers and publishers worldwide.

Favorite TV Campaign: Call me sentimental, but McCann-Erickson’s Mean Joe Greene Coca Cola spot really sticks out in my mind as the best example of how to use TV ads to generate emotion and empathy. Enough about that, let’s talk about my favorite programming languages…

Favorite TV Campaign: : I can’t think of any ad that has entered the American vernacular and psyche like Partnership for a Drug Free America’s Fried Egg “this is your brain on drugs” spot. I marvel at the simplicity and power of the concept. Then again, Wendy’s Where’s the Beef also entered the American vernacular but somehow I don’t marvel at that one in quite the same way.
